5 SOLUTIONS FOR SMART BUILDING

A smart building is a combination of infrastructure and information sharing technology between systems to optimize the building’s performance. Smart buildings powered by Internet of Things (IoT) solutions monitor and evaluate processes and conditions. They empower facility managers to reduce energy waste and crime, such as trespassing and vandalism.

So, applying IoT to smart buildings, Song Nam has come up with total solutions for Smart Buildings. Consists of:

1. Smart BMS

BMS (intelligent Building Management System) Smart Building Management System (BMS (intelligent Building Management System) is a synchronous system that allows to control and manage all technical systems in the building such as: electrical system, domestic water supply system, air conditioning, ventilation, environmental warning, security, fire alarm – fire fighting, etc., ensuring the correct and timely operation of equipment in the building time, efficiency, energy saving and operating cost saving BMS system is a synchronous system with real-time, online, multimedia, multi-user, microprocessor system including central processor with all computer hardware and software, input and output devices, area processors, sensors and dot matrix controls.

2. Smart Security

Smart security systems seamlessly integrate home or business security systems into everyday life. It connects your security to your personal devices like smartphones using home network and wireless technology.

3. Smart Energy

Smart energy solutions include devices such as smart meters and smart grids that are used to collect relevant data. This data forms the parameters related to the current and can vary from the performance of the device to the energy used by the end consumer. By analyzing this information, energy suppliers can make informed decisions to effectively manage electricity flow in all three industries of electricity generation, transmission and distribution.

4. Smart Elevator Control

Smart elevators work by having users press a button to set their destination, then an indicator directing them to the elevator will get them there in the shortest amount of time. This is faster and more efficient, reducing costs and possibly the number, size or speed of elevators needed. They can be programmed to apply different modes of operation at different times of the day, and can recognize users with key tags that can include destination information.

5. Smart IT, ELV

Light-electricity system also known as ELV (Extra Low Voltage System) is a combination of high-tech systems and equipment, developed and upgraded according to purpose, function and convenience for users. Light electrical systems account for a small proportion (10-20% of the project value), but can determine the quality level of a project. A construction project is divided into two parts: construction and electromechanical (M&E). The electromechanical part includes many related systems to form a complete working block for the building. One of the important systems is the light system.
