DESIGN

• The casing is made of double-layer aluzinc panels, with a 20mm foam insulation layer for thermal and sound insulation.
• The casing features fixed brackets with vibration-absorbing connectors for easy installation.
• The connectors for duct connections are located on the side of the unit and sealed with rubber when connected to ducts. A maintenance door allows easy access for cleaning, filter replacement, and other maintenance activities.

FANS

• The external fan uses a high-efficiency EC motor and centrifugal fan with backward-curved blades for optimal air supply and exhaust.
• EC motors provide the best energy consumption per airflow rate and meet the latest energy-saving and high-efficiency ventilation standards.
• EC motors are high-performance, low-noise, and fully adjustable in speed.
• Dynamically balanced fan blades.

INSTALLATION

• Ceiling-mounted with fixed brackets.
• The unit must be installed correctly to allow condensate collection and drainage, with easy access for maintenance.
• The maintenance door allows convenient access for servicing.

HEAT EXCHANGE

• The KOMFORT EC DBE 300/550/900 units are equipped with a polystyrene counterflow heat exchanger for heat recovery. The condensate from the unit is collected and drained into the water tray beneath the heat exchanger.

• The KOMFORT EC DBE 2000/3000 units feature a counterflow enthalpy plate heat exchanger for energy (heat and humidity) recovery. No condensate is formed in the enthalpy heat exchanger due to the moisture recovery process.

• The KOMFORT EC DBE…-E 300/550/900 units are equipped with a counterflow enthalpy plate heat exchanger for energy (heat and humidity) recovery. No condensate is formed in the enthalpy heat exchanger due to the moisture recovery process.

• The airflows in the heat exchanger are completely separated, preventing odors and pollutants from transferring from the exhaust air to the supply air.
• The exhaust air transfers most of its heat to the incoming airflow. Heat recovery reduces heating energy loss during cold seasons. In summer, the heat exchanger reverses, and the incoming air is cooled by transferring some of the accumulated coolness from the exhaust air. This improves air conditioning efficiency and reduces electricity consumption for rooms with fresh air supply.

AUTOMATION CONTROL

• The units are equipped with an integrated automation system S21. The remote control is not included in the delivery (sold separately).
• The S21 controller allows integration into smart home systems or BMS (Building Management System).
• The unit can be controlled via the Blauberg AHU mobile app through Wi-Fi.
