FAN

• The unit is equipped with a high-efficiency EC external rotor motor and centrifugal fan with forward-curved blades.
• EC motors have optimal energy consumption per airflow rate and meet the latest energy-saving and high-efficiency ventilation standards.
• EC motors offer high performance, low noise, and fully adjustable speed ranges.

DESIGN

• The casing of the KOMFORT Ultra EC S2 300 in white is made of double-layer white-painted metal panels, with a 20mm mineral wool insulation layer for sound and heat insulation.
• The connection ports are located at the top of the unit and are sealed with rubber to ensure a tight connection to the air ducts.
• The access panel makes it easy to reach the interior of the unit for maintenance such as cleaning, filter replacement, etc.

HEAT RECOVERY

• The KOMFORT Ultra EC S2 300-H white version is equipped with a cross-flow polystyrene heat exchanger for heat recovery. Condensate is collected and drained into a tray beneath the heat exchanger.
• The KOMFORT Ultra EC S2 300-E white version uses a cross-flow enthalpy plate heat exchanger for energy (heat and humidity) recovery. Because of its moisture recovery ability, no condensate is produced in the enthalpy heat exchanger.
• The airflow inside the heat exchanger is completely separated, preventing odors and pollutants from transferring from exhaust air to supply air.
• Heat recovery works by exchanging heat and/or humidity through the heat exchange plates. During cold weather, the incoming air is warmed by exchanging heat with the warm and humid exhaust air. Heat recovery reduces heat loss during ventilation and saves heating costs.
• In hot weather, the heat exchanger operates in reverse, and the incoming air is cooled by the cold exhaust air. This reduces the load on the air conditioning system and saves electricity.
• When the temperature difference between indoors and outdoors is negligible, heat recovery becomes ineffective. At this point, the heat exchanger can be replaced with a summer block (available upon special order).

ANTI-FREEZE

• The automatic anti-freeze mode prevents the heat exchanger from freezing in cold weather. The supply fan will temporarily stop based on a temperature sensor to warm the heat exchanger with exhaust air, and then the supply fan will resume normal operation.

AIR FILTERING

• Two integrated filters, G4 and F8, efficiently filter the supply air.
• The G4 filter is used to filter the exhaust air.

CONTROL AND AUTOMATION

• The KOMFORT Ultra EC S2 300-H(E) S2 white version is equipped with a CDT E/0-10 speed controller.
• The KOMFORT Ultra EC S2 300-H(E) S14 white version has an integrated control system with a wall-mounted S14 control panel with LED indicators.
• The S14 control panel functions include:
  • Turn the unit on/off.
  • Select speed: Low, Medium, or High.
  • Activate summer ventilation mode: The supply fan stops, and only the exhaust fan operates with no heat recovery.
  • Warning indicators.
  • Filter maintenance indicators.
• The KOMFORT Ultra EC S2 300-H(E) S14 version has a USB (Type B) port and can connect to a computer for advanced settings via specialized software:
  • Adjust fan speed from 0 to 100%. Each speed is separately adjustable for supply and exhaust fans.
  • Control operation based on the FS2 humidity sensor (sold separately).
  • Configure operation via external relays (sold separately).
  • Set the activation temperature for the anti-freeze system.
  • Adjust the filter maintenance timer.
  • External control and humidity adjustment.
  • Software version upgrades.

INSTALLATION

• The unit can be wall-mounted or placed on the floor using installation brackets. The KOMFORT Ultra EC S2 300-E version is also suitable for ceiling installation.
• The KOMFORT Ultra EC S2 300-H version requires a location that allows for condensate collection and drainage.
• When installing, ensure enough space is available to open the control panel for filter replacement and maintenance.
• Due to the versatile casing design, the unit can be installed on the left or right by swapping the control panel and back panel.
