FAN

• The units are equipped with high-efficiency external rotor EC motors, used for supplying and exhausting air.
• The KOMFORT ERV EC DB 100 S14, KOMFORT ERV EC DB 150 S14, and KOMFORT ERV EC DB 250 S14 models are equipped with forward-curved centrifugal fans, while the KOMFORT ERV EC DB 350 S14 models are equipped with backward-curved fans.
• EC motors have the best energy consumption rate per airflow and meet the latest energy-saving and high-efficiency ventilation standards.
• The EC motors provide high performance, low noise, and fully adjustable speed ranges.
• The fan blades are dynamically balanced.

DESIGN

• The casing is made from polymer-coated steel plates, with an inner layer of 5-10 mm thick polyurethane foam (depending on the model) for heat insulation and noise reduction.
• The unit is equipped with a removable bottom panel for easy maintenance. This panel allows access to the filter and heat exchanger for service tasks.
• The connection ducts are located on both sides of the unit, equipped with rubber gaskets to ensure an airtight connection to the ducts.
• The casing is designed with mounting brackets for ceiling installation.

HEAT RECOVERY

• The unit is equipped with a cross-flow enthalpy heat exchanger for energy (heat and humidity) recovery. Due to the moisture recovery feature, no condensate is produced in the enthalpy heat exchanger.
• The airflow streams are fully separated in the heat exchanger, preventing odors and pollutants from transferring from exhaust air to supply air.
• Heat recovery is based on the transfer of heat and/or humidity through the heat exchanger plates. In cold weather, the incoming air is warmed by transferring heat from the warm, humid exhaust air to the fresh, cold incoming air. Heat recovery reduces heat loss during ventilation and decreases heating costs.
• In warm weather, the heat exchanger reverses the process, cooling the incoming air with cold exhaust air. This reduces the load on air conditioning systems and saves electricity.

ANTI-FREEZE PROTECTION

• An integrated automatic anti-freeze protection system prevents the heat exchanger from freezing in cold weather. The supply fan will stop based on a temperature sensor to warm the heat exchanger with exhaust air. Afterward, the supply fan resumes normal operation, and the device operates in standard mode.

AIR FILTRATION

• Two integrated filters, G4 and F8, provide effective filtration of supply air.
• The G4 filter is used to filter exhaust air.

BYPASS

• The units are equipped with a bypass for summer ventilation (cooling air using cooler outdoor air).

CONTROL AND AUTOMATION

• The KOMFORT ERV EC DB S14 units feature an integrated control system with a wall-mounted S14 control panel with LED indicators. The units are equipped with a USB (Type B) port, allowing connection to a computer for advanced settings through dedicated software.
• The standard product includes a 10-meter cable for connecting the unit to the control panel.

Automatic Functions of S14:

• On/Off control of the unit.
• Performance control (select Low, Medium, or High speed).
• Open and close the bypass valve for summer ventilation.
• Warning indicators.
• Filter maintenance indicators.

Additional Automation Functions with Installed Software:

• Adjust fan speed from 0 to 100%. Each speed can be individually adjusted for the supply and exhaust fans.
• Control operation based on feedback from an FS2 humidity sensor (sold separately).
• Set device operation via external controller (sold separately).
• Set the activation temperature for anti-freeze protection.
• Control and adjust the filter maintenance timer.
• Control external relays and adjust humidity levels.
