APPLICATION

  • Integrated air handling unit with a range hood for efficient supply and exhaust ventilation in apartments, houses, villas, and other buildings.

DESIGN

  • The casing is made of double-layer polymer-coated steel panels with 15 mm polypropylene foam for thermal and sound insulation.
  • Integrated range hood with control buttons on the front panel.
  • Wall-mounted with built-in fixing accessories.
  • Duct connectors are located at the top of the unit, featuring rubber gaskets for airtight connections.
  • Hinged casing panels allow easy access for cleaning and maintenance.

FANS

  • High-efficiency EC motors with external rotors and centrifugal fans with backward-curved blades are used for supply and exhaust air.
  • EC motors are highly energy-efficient, meeting modern energy-saving and high-performance ventilation standards.
  • EC motors feature high efficiency, low noise, and fully adjustable speed.
  • Dynamically balanced fan blades.

HEAT RECOVERY

  • The unit is equipped with a high-efficiency counterflow polystyrene plate heat exchanger.
  • Airflows in the heat exchanger are completely separated, preventing odor and pollutant transfer from exhaust to supply air.
  • Heat recovery reduces energy loss by using warm exhaust air to heat incoming air during cold seasons. In summer, the heat exchanger works in reverse, transferring coolness from exhaust air to incoming air, improving air conditioning efficiency.
  • Electronic anti-freezing protection prevents the heat exchanger from freezing in winter. Sensors pause the supply fan to allow exhaust air to warm the heat exchanger before resuming normal operation.
  • Condensate is collected and drained from a tray beneath the heat exchanger.
  • When the range hood is activated, exhaust air bypasses the heat exchanger, preventing cross-contamination.

AIR HEATER

  • The unit includes an integrated electric heater for cold seasons when outdoor temperatures are low.
  • The electric heater activates to warm the supply air to +30°C if heat recovery alone cannot maintain the desired indoor temperature.
  • The electric heater automatically turns off once the target temperature is reached.
  • Two overheat protection systems: one self-resetting at +60°C and one requiring manual reset at +90°C.

AIR FILTRATION

  • Integrated G4 bag filters for supply and exhaust air ensure effective filtration. An optional F7 filter can be used for supply air.
  • The range hood includes a multi-layer aluminum grease filter.

CONTROL AND AUTOMATION

  • Built-in control system with an LCD panel and remote control.
  • Two operation modes:
    1. Heat Recovery Mode: When the range hood is off, warm indoor air is routed through the heat exchanger to transfer heat to incoming air.
    2. Range Hood Mode: When the range hood is on, warm air is exhausted directly through the hood and discharged outside. Both modes maintain balanced indoor ventilation.
  • Automatic functions:
    • Turn the unit on/off.
    • Adjust low, medium, and high speeds for supply and exhaust fans, with separate airflow control for each speed.
    • Switch between heat recovery and range hood modes.
    • Turn off the unit in response to a fire alarm signal.
    • Activate maximum speed based on signals from CO2, humidity, IAQ, or other sensors (purchased separately).
    • Monitor and indicate filter clogging based on operating hours.
    • Weekly operation scheduling.
    • Prevent overheating of electric heating components.

INSTALLATION

  • Install the unit on a wall in the kitchen.
  • Ensure adequate space for maintenance and repair access.
  • Connect the unit to a drainage system.
  • For proper heating of supply air, install a temperature sensor no more than 1 m from the air duct connection point.
